Quicker search and roomier film pages
Search starts sooner and remembers recent queries. Film pages place the poster beside the details on wider screens, with a smaller poster in landscape and a stacked layout on phones.

Streaming links are icons again
Watch links are back to a compact row of provider icons. Hover over an icon to see the service name. Duplicate links are still removed.
CheapCharts removed for now
The CheapCharts connection, list syncing, and purchase-link lookup have been removed while I work out how they should fit. Your 24p lists are unaffected.
Fewer background requests while browsing
Film grids and search results now load detail pages when you open them, reducing background requests that can trigger browsing limits.
More reliable lists and search
List editors and imports now support keyboard dismissal and keep focus inside the dialog. Search timeouts offer a retry, and movie recommendations use film entries from mixed movie and TV lists.
Clearer browsing and a simpler changelog
Film grids now show titles and years. Artist pages include character names and crew roles, and streaming links stay visible on phones and tablets.

Send new list additions to CheapCharts
Added an optional connection to mirror new films into a CheapCharts custom movie list, including additions from the iPhone app. This integration was removed on October 17, 2026.

Search results tell you what you're looking at
Every result now says whether it's a film or a series, what year it came out, and how it's rated, so you can pick the right Titans without opening three of them first. People show up with a round photo and what they're known for.

- Cast and crew results now show their department and a couple of credits.
- The results panel lines up with the search box and stops at the bottom of the window instead of running off the screen.

Shared lists, list editing, and streaming filters work the way they should
A round of fixes for things that were quietly broken: lists shared with you view-only now actually show up, collaborators can edit shared lists again, your streaming filters are remembered between visits, and TV shows always save to lists correctly.

Safer, simpler sign-in on Apple TV and iPhone
Signing in on an Apple device is now approve-from-the-web: the device shows a 6-digit code, and you enter it under Settings → Apple devices to approve it. No more generating a code on the web and typing it with the TV remote.

IMDb ratings you can count on
The IMDb rating on movie and show pages now comes from IMDb's own scores and is cached, so it shows up reliably instead of dropping off for titles we hadn't loaded recently.

Sort an artist's films by their best
Artist filmographies are now a poster grid like the streaming page, with a rating on each poster and a Newest / Top rated sort that surfaces a person's greatest work. Low-vote obscurities are weighted down so a 9.8 from a dozen votes can't outrank a beloved classic.

Streaming & price notifications retired
The email alerts for new streaming availability and price drops have been removed, along with their Settings toggles. Everything else — lists, search, streaming discovery, and recommendations — is unaffected.

Your lists now show their posters at a glance
List cards were redesigned to show a strip of film posters from each list, so you can recognize a list by its contents instead of just its color — and it now looks right on mobile, not only when hovering on a desktop.

- Posters are prepared ahead of time so cards render faster, and the old hover-only backdrop animation was removed.
Streaming and list pages load faster
The streaming catalog and list detail pages were sped up — streaming results are cached instead of refetched on every visit, and a list's films now load in a couple of batched requests instead of one per title.

Sign in to 24p on Apple TV
There's now a 24p app for Apple TV. Generate a one-time code in Settings, enter it on your Apple TV, and your account comes with you — browse and search on the big screen.

- Revoke all Apple TV codes from the same card if you lose access to a device.
Jump straight to an artist's best-known titles
The "known for" titles highlighted at the top of an artist's page are now tappable — go straight to a title instead of scrolling to find it in the filmography.

Start a new list right from a title
The add-to-list button on movie and TV pages now lets you spin up a brand-new list on the spot — name it and the title you're viewing is added straight away.

See who's in a film at a glance
Movie detail pages now show the top-billed cast just above the description — tap any name to go straight to their filmography.

Get notified when your watchlist hits a new platform
Turn on streaming notifications in Settings and we'll email you a daily digest whenever a title in your lists becomes available on a new streaming service.

Search ranks by what you actually want
Search results now surface the most well-known match first — typing a director's name brings up the director before a list of films that share a word.

- Artist pages were redesigned to match the rest of the app — darker background, cleaner typography, and notable works shown right in the header.

Faster detail pages and steadier ratings
Movie and TV pages were hardened so they behave more reliably when data sources are slow, and saved ratings now reflect their real last-updated time.

Search and page-to-page movement were polished to reduce friction when you are bouncing between lists, titles, and profile pages.
